I wasn't playing a game......I figured Terrh would like to race something that would give him a challenge instead of a FWD overpowered car with wheel spin or a new Evo x that runs about 100MPH tops in the 1/4.

I didn't want this thread to turn into this LOL, I just wanted to post up some videos

I usually don't go out looking for races, they come to me (like you just did)

I am not sure when the next time I'll be crossing in the skyline is, but I'll let you know sometime.

I think mike was pissed because the thought you were some ricer that just had friends with fast cars.

btw, I don't think my gtr is the fastest car around, but it was faster than both of those.

Why are the new evo's so slow btw? I even missed 3rd during that race and it didn't look like he was catching me.

Understood....there is always someone faster. I just like to race cars that I think would present a challenge or even beat me. On another note I would just like to race a GTR. I have respect for someone that is willing to own a car that parts are not readily available and attracts so much attention.....not to mention the potential hassle of getting in the country in the first place.

The new Evo is 300lbs heavier that the previous model.....that cannot be the only reason but stock the are running in the 13.8 @ 100 range........but they do respond well to mild bolt ons.

If I see you out we can run them....

Check out the latest Motor Trend with the Orange G8 GXP on the cover. They put a new EVO X up against a new 135i and the 135i spanks it. They get into some details as to why the EVO X is having trouble keeping up.

Fair enough......

Last spring (2007) the car ran a best of 11.81 @ 114.7.......It has had a few minor changes since then and I have picked up a few MPH, I also seem to be able to drive the thing.

I find it more fun if people don't know what it runs anymore.

The car ran 11.94 with the stock turbo and stock cams on pump gas at 22lbs of boost

I am very simple.....it now has an EVO 9 turbo (ported) @ 24 lbs with a couple little things.

the new evos aren't terrible slow, but w/ a turboback exhaust, boost controller set to 21psi (that was the magic number i read), and an intake it gets 80hp more. from what i've been seeing they love bolt ons. Some more work on that car and im sure it'll be pretty damn fast.
