Do you have the video of the second gear roll you guys did??? You know; the one where the talon pulled you?

In all the videos posted above..you started in first gear, while the talon was in second gear.......I know that you know this because (you know) there is no way a talon will do 45mph in 1st gear...so you used that to your advantage. (good tactic...another reason why roll racing is gay)

Good runs either way I guess....funny how a 16g car can run down the "big boy" evo's and skylines. haha

Id still like to see a run from a dig...that would be great....all three cars were pretty evenly matched.

the last race where he pulled us??? he pulled out on us for about a half second then the skyline came around him and then hit the brakes..


actually there wasnt really a set speed nobody really said anything untill the last race..


they raced like 6-7 times that night only time he actually got the skyline is when we blew a coupler.

sorry 2 say but you really think that car was going to make up the 4 cars it was pulled everytime?

hahaha ownage at its best. also i dont think a skyline is in 1st gear at 45mph. i could be wrong but if it was it would have been pointless. too high of rpm. GTR woned the DSM hands down, looks like the DSM is maybe a 13 sec car hahaha.

what kind of crack are you smoking?

There aren't many cars that will do 45MPH in first gear, and my car certainly isn't one of them. Most of those rolls were around 20-25MPH (35-40km/h on my speedo, which I think works out to that) and the ONE time I went in 2nd too I was at like 2300RPM, he pulled a car or two on me until my turbos spooled, then I rocketed past him.

45MPH rolls are just about IDEAL for my car, wish we were doing those so the ownage could have been even more substantial.

45 roll ftw, if your in the wrong gear learn how to race then, brake boosting may help too. How is roll racing gay? It shows the true power/speed of the car, digs show more of who can get more traction/skill of driver, cool. (obviously coming from a FWD)

yah but 45mph rolling starts + all that traffic is either gonna end with a crash or with a grp of officers saying hell with guns drawn.

very cool vid... LOVE the sound of that rb26. (assuming its an rb26) just fantastic.

but higher mph roll racing on woodward is clearly ftl. WAAAAAAY too much congestion out there for such shinnanagins.

heck, i was out there around 8pm in the challenger, (super light traffic), and i went at it from a 10mph roll up to about 60mph against a GS Stage1. even though there was significant space between the front of our cars and the next closest vehicle ahead of us, i still had the distinct feeling of claustrophobia and that i shouldn't have been doing it. but then again, i suppose that's part of the thrill? it didn't feel like a "good" thrill, tho.

i've raced on the street many, many times over the years and i can definitely say that woodward has never been a worse place for racing than now. this stems from just too much traffic/activity. I-696 or its related service drive is the safest place if you simply cannot wait to take it to a track.

i realize this diatribe could be construed as hypocritical, but i'm actually far more well behaved than i used to be in this regard. i'm not wagging my finger at the r32 or the dsm or ANYone else for that matter... but merely pointing out the overall intensely risky/dangerous conditions woodward has for high mph competitions. (i've seen really bad stuff happen)

just be careful... is all i'm saying.
