I'm guessing those are two completely different cars. As-stated above, the airbag is intact and if you look, there are several piece cut in half and intentionally destroyed that didn't occur from an accident. Also, look at the stack of cars in the background - all Nissan.

I'm guessing this was just a test mule that they didn't want anyone attempting to steal parts off of...

^^ agreed. by the looks of it the front impact bar was unbolted however in one pic the passanger rail is bent. if this was an actual crashed car i am to believe the bage sould have blown. its smashed all the way around and the bags didnt blow? not believeable. if it was hit that hard to rip the whole front end off then that motor would be moved inside the bay (broken mounts) after seeing this video a few times i say its a test car.

Since when do they paint test mules? Usually, they are debadged also. The air bags didn't blow because no one was inside the car when it happened. Read the description at the top.

I'm guessing that was after it was compacted at the junkyard.

All the time. I see test mules and pre-production cars all the time that are painted. They get driven on public roads sometimes for a year or more.

Id guess tha majority are painted,...certainly the press release cars, car-show cars, the ones presented to and driven by the board members, cars used in photos etc.
