Its a VW R32 (6speed)

Had it since new

Pretty much stock other than stereo w/Sirius Sat Radio and I downgraded to 17s (thanks to chicagoland roads) and mothballed the factory 18s

no, I'm not.....

...oh on the R32 badge from the front grill.. it was stolen within 3 days of buying the car, and the dealership was nice enough to comp me a replacement which got stolen AGAIN so I never bothered to replace it (not worth having it stolen again)

..ALTHOUGH I don't go to VW shows any more or any of the VW hangouts so maybe it wouldn't get stolen this time.. but 'meh' not worth bothering.. looks fine to me as-is... don't need to announce to everyone it's an R32 - I know it is and that's good enough for me

Ah. They have some pretty clean VWs. I spotted this in a parking garage two years ago when visiting Marshall Field's (now Macy's) on State Street-
