Because a lot of classes limit the type of tire and suspension you can run. This is one of the most if not the most common type of rule structure found in most "street car" classes today. You know drag racing not dyno or e-racing.

Here a nice easy pass...all I had to do was hit the gas and then I actually fell asleep:
http://videos.streetfire.net/video/T...omas_62195.htm

I've seen your sig. I don't see any fast cars on the list just a dyno number which tells me you've never even made a pass with it. 800 hp is nice. I made that on my lowest boost setting......at 5000 rpms...

Back to how you don't have a clue as to what you're talking about now...

I simply pointed out the fact that it was obvious you had never done it based on what you thought it took to do it. You were the one that got bent out of shape and now have to insert your foot into your mouth. I'm a nobody but I've been faster than you and I know exactly how hard it is to get a car down the track.

Yep if you strap into it then I'll sit with it. I've got nothing to lose.

The only piece I'm missing is the trans and I'm supposed to pick that up tomorrow at noon. Might be testing within a week.

800rwhp?
if so that must have been a challenge to get it to only go 10.7's.
mine only makes 500 at the tire and is much quicker

He said he only made "one" pass and that was probably on 91 not "race fuel" and you have no idea what the boost was set at. Lastly I highly doubt your car weighs 4000lbs, if anything close to that.

i was only putting down around 650rwhp on 20psi with 93 octane during that run and there was quite a bit of wheel spin. if i were able to run again the time would have come down alot.

With that set up, your motor could handle well over 30psi. I've seen similar builds running 9's on all boost. Lol obviously you probably already know that

Again, it's very easy to type about how much better it would have run but it always ends up being more difficult to do that in real life. My car had enough power to go 8.20's but for some reason my best pass was only an 8.78. It did go 130 to the 1/8th with 750 rwhp at 3450 lbs. It would only do low 160s in the 1/4 though because it would run out of gear and ride the rev limiter for the last 1-1.5 seconds on a good pass (I don't recommend doing this).
