It made 415whp on the Monkeywrench dynapack (some estimate 315whp at SI). But you're right it should trap a lot higher. These runs were horrible, the car has trapped 123.3mph with 375whp but a 2.19 60' comparing to the 2.3+ that I was getting. With the launch control the car was making too much boost in 1st gear to even move forward, it was a joke. I'll have it back on slicks eventually and put up some better ETs and traps. I forgot to mention that the suspension on my civic is shot. I need all new struts and bushings, so I'm sure it has a big effect on my traction. It's my on going project so it will eventually get done. I'm a student and a caddy so the money only comes in during the warm months.

The maxima has gone 13.3@107 last year with less power also, but it is a heavy car and has a centrifugal blower on it, so the boost rises with rpm. It made 385whp at Monkeywrench with a 2.5" catback. It now has a 3" so prob around 400whp.

The real thing is the trapspeeds for me. I don't really care about big numbers on the dyno, i mainly use the dyno to measure gains from making changes to the car.

It's a dynapack, they typically read higher then a Mustang or Dynojet. Like the owner of the car said, who cares how much power it makes, it's the trap speed that tells the real story. A dyno is a tuning tool and nothing more.

The Civic looks like it moves out. With traction, that thing is going to put down some really impressive ETs. Not that 12's out of a Civic is something to balk at by any means.

x2

Base numbers on a dyno and then the difference after tuning, modifications, etc...are what a dyno is used for. Every dyno is different and to try and compare one shops dyno to another is almost impossible.

Yessir it;s the same car. The launch control really didn't help me go down the track any quicker with the DR's but the sound made it worth while. I need slicks to really make use of the boost off the line. Maybe next season I'll work on making the car hook, cause this season was all about getting the engine running good.

No, I would not say that at all. Their dynapack definitely reads low compared to some others. I think the civic just needs to get the power down better.

I was running 8.90's and ~155mph with about 690whp on Monkeywrench's dyno.

Last time at a dynojet I was 784whp and running 166-167mph.
