those look like the cliche mini truck wheels. but i have a strange feeling that those are some oddball european wheel company. something like Tracer Tech:

The wheels on the MkII are mostly likely old Boyd's.
Tracer's are effing hot.

i drove my last car everyday with Ray Gram Lights (besides winter i raised it) i mean granted i am not low but still. (i wish i had some aggressive wheels) It's not that bad as everyone says![]()
You first need a nice FULL coil setup/air [but air is kinda cheating], spacers are out of the question since that is cheating. If you want a low offset then look for wheels that have a low offset. I see alot of accord guys get a +35 offset and then they get rid of the wheels to get a +24 offset, that's doing it the real way. Or you can install a new portion of the wheel barrel that will push out the width of the wheel. With my old Work wheels I can find a new barrel and I can easily make it 17x8 to 17x9-17x10 if I wanted to.
Then you have to roll&pull your fenders if you have some wide+low offset wheels. For my car I have to shave some of the rear bumper off and relocated the bumper clip on the rear also. Same goes for the front. Then you adjust your suspension properly, a shitty setup will not lower your car far enough to "tuck" the tires. Then theres camber and camber will help you slam your car and move the wheel away from the fender a bit to fit on those aggressive wheels.
Stretching tires works in conjunction with lowering your car. If you have a bigger, meatier tire then it will be hard for you to tuck your tires, run a low offset, and the tires will rub on your fenders for sure. If you have an aggressive wheel like 17x10 then you will most likely have to run a super thin tire. I see people run a 215/40/17 tire on 17x10 wheels and that is super stretched. I think it's more risky to run on Michigan and midwest roads since Cali and the south have some smooth smooth roads and not many potholes.
Remember, being flush means you are running the wrong offset to many many people. But who cares, it's your car and it's how you see a nice car in your mind. Fuck what other people think![]()
