    Lowering the Coilover

Anyone have a spanner wrench small enough to fit in there? Or can anyone loosen and spin the collars for me?
My bike is set-up for a 230lb rider, I'm far from it, and it's raised about an inch on the collars, so I need to lower it.

    Anyone?

Tap it with a screwdriver and a hammer. With the Spanner wrench you will slip off and wreck your knuckles.

    Nick,

I've been doing that, I've sprayed it with PB Blaster, but I'm only destroying the collar ends, and it takes forever for it to turn one full turn.

that does not lower your bike do not touch that if you dont know what your doing. its for preload and suspension adjustment based on rider weight and preference and has nothing to do with lowering at all. if you want to lower your bike you need lowering links.

Um, it's like a coilover. I know it's for preload also. I know what I'm doing. I have lowering links also. I've already done it. The bike wasn't set-up for me anyways, and guess what. It lowered it

What kind of bike is it again? Stock rear suspension? I've have a few bikes with a mono shock setup in the rear and turning the setting never realyl lowered it for me. On my Vulcan when I made it softer it would compress lower when I sat on it just because it was a softer setting.

or like he said it softned it up and just compressed more under your weight. those have nothing to do with height and im 100% positive. do some research
