No problem at all man! My wife and I had to leave a little earlier than Edmon to head to dinner for my brother's birthday, so we wanted to do a sweep of the parking lot before we left. I figured most of the OG people left were going to clean their stuff up for sure, but decided to just grab whatever we saw before we left. No big deal!

Again, best of luck man- Alicia and I were really bummed to hear about the car being stolen. I truly hope that you get the best possible outcome from all of this. If I can do anything to help, don't hesitate to shoot me a PM!

ryan, i know its not the best time to ask. but after your ITR was taken didn't you take proper steps to prevent it happening again? line lock? fuel cut? battery...?

    just wondering.

Honestly, I don't think there is anything you can really do to keep this from happening. These guys are just too resourceful at this point. The best thing you can do is have full coverage, for sure...

I dont get why people think that will stop a car from being taken. Its this simple, say I want your necklace, you know someone may want it so you bulk up a little, or carry a knife. Great, you delay it getting taken. But, when someone wants something, they will get it no matter what you have to prevent it.

worst analogy i have ever read.

no one ever touched my hondas. and i parked in the street. im sure i was just lucky though.

hell, one time i parked at a bowling alley with NO HOOD and a b18c1 sitting out in the open. yes i was kind of an idiot. be it, this was 2004. im sure the theif game has gone up since then.

2004 was a different time. In those years hearing about a Honduh getting stolen was somewhat "rare". I would drive my ITR everywhere back then and not worry too much about it. If you came by my old house it was not uncommon to see my ITR or even a few ITR's (and modded honduhs) parked in my driveway for days at a time with out any troubles.

The Civiak did have a few anti-theft items. I have been around long enough to know that if someone wants your car, they will get it.

Something I wish I would have done was to get the car appraised, however lazyness and monies got in my way.

hope the insurance company doesnt think that this is an "inside" job since this is numero 2 in 2 years, that would really suck. Again Ryan if i hear anything, i will let you know asap.

Cameras dont scare anyone anymore.... I work at Honda and we had a guy steal a Brand New 2010 CRV Right out of the service lane at 1030am. Cars in the service used to have the keys left in them. We went to the tapes and had the guy on 4 different cameras and he had talked to a few different people here, was here over 1.5 hrs before he got in the car and drove off... Police said that cameras dont stop theives anymore. They found him in california 3 weeks later still with the car.

We had one guy stealing a car every week or two off our lot. Cameras caught him and everything, he kept hiding and taking more. Finally caught him in Tawas.

Ryan, good luck finding it. Time to get out of Honduh's I guess.

They do not have the right to deny him a claim based on speculation. If they choose to investigate, as long as the OP is innocent there is nothing they can do. They will have to prove in a court of law that it was insurance fraud. However they probably could drop him from their company's services after paying the claim if they feel his is a libability or atleast raise his premium, not sure on the legality of that.

They do have a right to drop his insurance immediately after fulfilling the claim. Just like any business out there, you don't have to serve anyone, it's the business' right to deny anyone service, even if prior paying customer.

Any evidence backing those names. buddy? name dropping makes you look suspicious as well, and I'd reccomend taking those two names (if you know anything more than their screen names on here) to the Local PD.

There's a trick to being whatever you want to be in life.
It starts with the simple belief that you are what or who you say you are. It starts, like all faiths, with a belief-a belief predicated more on whimsy than reality. And you've gotta believe for everybody else, too - until you can show them proof. If you're lucky, someone starts believing with you - first theoretically, then in practice. And two people believing are the start of a congregation. You build a congregation of believers and eventually you set out to craft a cathedral. Sometimes it's just a church; sometimes it turns out to be a chapel. Folks who don't build churches will try to tell you how you're doing it wrong, even as your steeple breaks the clouds. Never listen.- From TOUGH SHIT
