I know it's been this way for a while, but is there any way to shorten the minimum term length? Only reason I ask is when you search for "BMW" or even "Del Sol", it will tell you that it's too short. I mean three could be a reasonable minimum length, that would help include some of those cars when searching.

There is a way to shorten it but it requires a database change. I always meant to do it but since it requires downtime, I never did. I suppose the next forum software upgrade would be a good time and I'm overdue on that. Hopefully I can get something set up in the first quarter of this year.

It's something to do with the default settings of MySQL I guess. It's been so long since I looked into it, I forget exactly what the cause is. I believe it's just a change to the minimum character length to index.
