Thanks man! Nothing big as far as updates go, I'll be welding the rest of my oil pan here soon, and then I have some saving up to do for some big parts. I'm not sure what I want to get first.

Engine just needs machining and then it can go together, but I'm not sure I want it to sit for another couple months while the rest of the car comes together.

I need to order my bellhousing and source a transmission.

Also, in order to get a proper tube front end going, I kind of need to have body panels to make everything line up right, so I'm at a crossroads and I'm not sure which direction I'm going to go first.

Oh dang man, that's crazy. I won't ever get rid of these two I have now. They're basically eBay altezza's painted with Candy Red paint and very lightly tinted clear. I plan to do the same.

so you use the plate to block the thermostat hole on the rear of the head..and use the other part in the freeze plug hole in the front of the head?
pretty freaking cool..did you come up with this idea or did you find it somewhere?
how is the coolant flow with a design like this?

Nah that's a Jay Racing design. I need to weld a fitting in the block off plate to run a heater core.

As far as coolant flow, I have to drill out the rear coolant passages in the head and restrict the ones in the front to properly direct coolant flow out of the front.

Trying to save up for some big suspension parts, but I've figured out my coil on plug setup. CBR coils will be paired with a Dynatek ARC-2.
