Man, this not being able to buy stuff for my car is killing me. Made some baffles for my valve cover.
I'll try and have some more exciting updates soon. I did finish my oil pan but still have to modify my pickup.

Soon this will be something much cooler than it is now.

There have been some plan changes. The car will be broken in with this twin-scroll hx30, and something much better will come laterit still needs some cleaning, machining, welding and powdercoating.
Size comparison to my hx35 compressor cover.
For those of you that don't know, this turbo compares roughly with the 2860r. It has a 44mm inducer, compared to the 47mm inducer on the 2860. But the exducer is significantly larger at 73mm vs 60mm for the garrett. This should make it better at higher pressure ratios, and the 65mm turbine flows a lot more than the little 54mm on the Garrett. Even with the bigger wheels, it should spool faster in the twin-scroll housing. There is an SR20 in the UK making over 350 to the wheels on this turbo.

Nice project I would re do your welds on the baffles , You barley have any weld holding to baffle itself It would suck see a chunk of metal fall into valvetrain!

Yeah, mitsubishi valvecovers suck to weld because they're so porous. Someday I'd like to get a frontline fabrications cnc one. It looks really bad in the pictures, but they're definitely not coming off. Thanks for looking out though!

Haha thanks man, I'm trying to work out the winter budget as we speak. I feel like you're the only one that follows this besides me on xceed haha.
Lmao. Does it help that I watch it on zilvia too?
--something clever--
Im watching too lol, I love the harbor freight sanding discs lol
93 z24 vert all out beater
Hahah what can I say? They work. Also, de-shrouding valves is a pain in the butt, lots of precision work that you don't want to mess up, especially when you have the aluminum cutting bit out. Now I see why machine shops have a cutter that does it in one fell swoop.
I cannot wait for this car to be done
