    Milan T&T April 14th/15th

    I know its early, but it is approaching us at only 10 weeks away...

    Hoping to get a nice group together out there. Post up if you plan on making it one of these days. The 14'th is opening day

    sounds like we have a nice group together then. this should be fun!

    they will not care about a cage test and tune day only. last time I went in fall they said nothing when i was going low 10s; 13-15 passes that day.

    true. But Im honestly surprised you didnt get kicked out when you ran 10s. I used to work there and regardless of what day/event it was if you ran and didnt have a cage, you were gone. I wonder who the tech guys are now.


    In fact, my buddy made ONE pass in his srt4 a few years ago and ran a 10.7 and that was the end of his day. They gave him a free pass tho to come back when he got a cage. That was on a wednesday T&T also, I was working.

    Things must have changed I guess. I was going 10.3 and they said nothing.

    just checked the NHRA rules and it states:

    Roll cage mandatory in cars running 10.99 (*6.99) or quicker, or any car exceeding 135 mph (217.2 km/h). Full bodied cars, with unaltered firewall, floor and body (from firewall rearward, wheeltubs permitted), running between 10.00 (*6.40) and 10.99 (*6.99) roll bar permitted in place of roll cage. Cars running between 7.50 (*4.50) and 9.99 (*6.39) must have chassis inspected every three-years by the ASN and have a serialised sticker affixed to cage before participation. Must conform to specs for body style used, as listed in General Regulations 4.11, 10.6.

    So, you may not be making many passes if they see you're not caged. Hopefully you can atleast make one tho
