DSM-Blue Devil Restoration (Motor In)

FINALLY!!! FINALLY FOUND A BLUE ONE!!!!
I picked up a 93' Eagle Talon Turbo AWD 5-speed from a guy who owned it since 2001. Has black leather interior and is all stock.
The guy said it would run, but not well and it threw all the odd check engine codes. We knew exactly what the problem was.... ECU. Took our truck and trailer over there, put the ecu and a battery in... fired right up! The guy looked at us all puzzled... he was kinda mad.
Anyhow, the clutch pedal just went right to the floor so hopefully its just a bad slave cylinder.

The car is solid, rust free. Has minor damage on drivers door and deep scratches in the drivers fender. They must have used something to push the car cause of the damage on the rear bumper.

The car has pretty bad fade. But at least it is rust free.

GOALS FOR THE CAR AS OF NOW:

Tune up, timing belt... get it in safe running condition.

Im getting prices and things together to get it re-painted. Hopefully this will happen within the next month. Looking for a fender, door and rear bumper right now.

It needs a dash, so we will be putting one of those in SOON.

As soon the body is awesome.... I will start gathering minor bolt on parts... exhaust, turbo, etc.

I love the DSM revolving door that is your yard/garage. Nice pick up! That is one of my favorite blue tones. If you need a new dash pad i have a minty one in the garage.

Looked into it a little more yesterday. Timing belt was already recently done.... balance shafts off though. lol.
I just cant believe how awesome it runs!

Not touching it anymore though until the 2 cars that are in the garage are done.

Ok, so I have always been in love with the 1ga 5 piece black wrap around spoiler. Im debating on doing it to this car. Here is what it looked like on my last one:

You could have gotten any color if you were going to repaint it blue anyways!

BTW - that previous blue one with the 5-piece spoiler certainly does look sharp!
