There's a trick to being whatever you want to be in life.It starts with the simple belief that you are what or who you say you are. It starts, like all faiths, with a belief-a belief predicated more on whimsy than reality. And you've gotta believe for everybody else, too - until you can show them proof. If you're lucky, someone starts believing with you - first theoretically, then in practice. And two people believing are the start of a congregation. You build a congregation of believers and eventually you set out to craft a cathedral. Sometimes it's just a church; sometimes it turns out to be a chapel. Folks who don't build churches will try to tell you how you're doing it wrong, even as your steeple breaks the clouds. Never listen.- From TOUGH SHIT

I recieved a pm today. We are trying to work on the details.
You talking about my 60ft? Mine only goes 1.34-40 depending on tire pressure.
Even with a 1.52 60' you would think with that MPH it'd be down in the .40's/.50s. My very first 302 set up would 60ft 1.5-1.6's and go 10.40's with less mph (125) That was with a nice hit of spray (225).

Mustang, 351, all motor.
Have you? What juicy info has the good old rumor mill conjured up this time?I still stand by what I say; that it won't run anywhere near 10s. Its going to be hard for us to get that dodge on the street he runs way faster than us at the track.
Just like with anyone we run. If something doesn't feel right or they don't like something about the car there is no obligation to run. Nothing is certain until your lined up. I'd doesn't matter to us no matter what my friend tells people they don't believe him anyway and they usually assume the car has this or that or does this or that.

When we meet up we will definitely see the car. And if it's on slicks we have some more working to do. But thats left to be worked out.

I never said it was behind a truck? Secondly, if you look on page 1 I said the following
Key words "BACK TO" I never said it hasn't been to the track.I'll keep you in mind for when he goes back to the track in September.
Third I know what it runs. And even at the track I know we could not hang with Ronin's car heads up (hence why I'm asking for space). Since I saw it last it has gotten new tires/rims. Ronin can vouch for the fact that I mentioned to him in a PM that when I had seen the car the other night it had new tires/rims on it. When I rode in it last night it still spins bad.
I'm not the owner I'm just trying to coordinate things. I tried to tell you what I know about the car. I took what the owner has told me as his honest word. I have never seen under the hood of the car but I have ridden in it and heard it.
Like I said in my previous post. There is no obligation to race if you show up and don't like what you see. I still think Ronin has the advantage. He's got a RWD big block car that he cuts 1.3 60' in.
