Hamilton Chevy in warren charged me $12 a wheel. Belle Tire and Discount wanted $50. That was dismounting one set and mounting it on another set.

Most small shops will do $10/$15 per wheel. No experience on the East side, but the West side that was pretty common.

    $12/wheel = $48

Generally, the Belle Tires near me are $7 for dismount and $14 for remount with balance...

It is worth it. But i always take my car there. Call them and make sure thats regular price. They only charged me for one set, $48, belle tire and discount wanted to charge me to dismount and mount two sets, cause i wanted the tires off of one set on the other but the they to dismount the old tires off the them first.

On average, it's $10-15, unless you are good friends with someone.

    but really, it's only $40....

Since no one said it, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that thought....

Bro you own a C6, I'm pretty sure you can fork $50 bucks.

If my cheapass can afford bad bitch forged wheels and fork $40-$50, I'm sure you can too.
"What is the lowest price you will take for your parts?"

Motherfucker, what is the highest price you are willing to pay?

Also, sometimes you get what you pay for also. I've seen some rims get pretty messed up, sometimes they replaced it and other times they said that they weren't responsible.

I meant $40 per tire yo. Just because I own a nice car doesn't mean I don't look for ways to save money. That's silly logic. $40 total is a great ass deal but $20 is better. I get them at noon tomorrow and I'm off work at 3 so I have a super short window for install.

    I know whatcha mean.

All I was sayin is that there's a fine line between trying to get shit for a lowered cost vs being a jew.

Yes. Walmart in IN managed to mangle my cheap wheels on the DSM and put one of the tires on in the wrong rotational direction. It was late and I didn't think to look until I got home.

EDIT: If time is tight, belle tire will take appointments and fit you in ASAP.

    To update you guys...

Walmart was $20 but didn't have tools to change rims other than alloy.

    Belletire was $220

Discount was $100 but did not service my run flats.

So I am stuck with belletire I think. They sent me 3 blacks and 1 chrome (wtf?) so I am waiting on delivery of my new rim for install. I am going to continue my hunt because $220 for rim installs to be honest is unreal man.

    $220?!?!?

Do they also offer free complementary McDonald's so they can say they took you out to dinner first before raping you?

That's outrageous. I don't know any shops in the area, so I can't help you there, but that's... well, ungodly.

Also, these are lightweight forged rims from the factory they are working on, and well over the width of many places. I'd take it to Harlow's and see if they can't cut you a deal. Also, you are dismounting, and remounting the same tires on different rims, a lot of places don't like that because of the width of the tire (could possible require a different machine for the depth to get the bead good).

Check them out, they do amazing work (place where we order the Dodge's tires/mount/etc)
There's a trick to being whatever you want to be in life.
It starts with the simple belief that you are what or who you say you are. It starts, like all faiths, with a belief-a belief predicated more on whimsy than reality. And you've gotta believe for everybody else, too - until you can show them proof. If you're lucky, someone starts believing with you - first theoretically, then in practice. And two people believing are the start of a congregation. You build a congregation of believers and eventually you set out to craft a cathedral. Sometimes it's just a church; sometimes it turns out to be a chapel. Folks who don't build churches will try to tell you how you're doing it wrong, even as your steeple breaks the clouds. Never listen.- From TOUGH SHIT
