Help me find the person who hit and ran. Silver Lancer (2000-2007) (Royal Oak Area)

Somebody turned left too soon at an intersection Friday night (yesterday). It was in Royal Oak at the intersection of Washington and Eleven Mile. I clipped his rear bumper and completely messed up my headlight, scratched my bumper, hood, and fender. As I gained control I pulled over to the gas station to look for the person and witnesses told me he ran away.

If you guys see a 2000-2007 Silver four door Mitsubishi Lancer that's completely missing a passenger tail light, please get the license plate number for me. S/he'll have a messed up passenger side rear bumper and no passenger tail light.

I have no info on this person and honestly, I am very very aggravated that he ran away. If anyone has any info, please reply to this thread.

Hope you find them. I'd be furious. They probably don't have insurance/suspended license/no license etc so they ran. Shitty situation.

It seemed like just a stock Silver Lancer, I didn't catch glimpse of any spoiler/after market visual modifications.

The thing that really mad me mad is that after I filed the police report, the police station informed me that they do not pursue hit and run inccidents unless serious injury is involved.. So basically I was minding my own business got hit, and am stuck now with fixing my own car myself, with no one to blame, and no one but the local forum and my friends to help find the person.

What's your insurance have to say about all of this?

You did file a police report, you should be able to show that to your insurance company. Hit and run or not, you have insurance for a reason.

I do have the police report, I just have to see if I have to pay a deductible or not. If I have to pay a $500 deductible, I'd rather do it myself instead of having it covered etc etc.

We'll see, I haven't called since I was busy yesterday all day.

Hope you get him/her, but not likely. Too many people in SE MI are irresponsible douches.
