    Barstow SVRSCCA autocross 8/4

I had forgotten about this site until I saw a couple stickers at the autocross yesterday. That was my first event on the east side of the state. I had a good time and liked the course. I'll probably be back again sometime.

PS, who had the Firehawk? That thing was badass. I like my imports but I love the sound of those engines.

The Firehawk belongs to a good friend of mines dad. The friend was the one with the 1/2 complete Sprite.

I used to drive that firehawk. Ahhhh memories. I wish I could directly swap those brakes onto the mustang.

I saw your car. Very stealth looking. I was driving the Red 200SX with black Rota's in SM.

Ah.. I saw your car.. I remember because I pointed at the rims and said Rotas and ________ (whatever kind of tire you were on). I don't think anyone I was with paid attention to me though

wha? racerubber, whats that? My kumho's *had* tread on them once apon a time. haha That was my first win since being in SM. In west michigan there are a couple really fast drivers in even faster cars that keep beating me.

I guess with the power figures you have in your sig you would have trouble keeping that thing pointed in one direction on street tires.

We should organize a statewide meet at Gingerman with all the groups around. I know a few Grand Rapids and Muskegon people that would go. Shit, we could rent the track for a day in October or something.

That has still got to be difficult to control on greesy ass street tires. Have you run that car in a straight line yet?

Its a fun car, lacks traction, especially on street meats...

I have some things in the works to fix the traction problems....
    Stay tuned....
