No official weight on all of the stuff, but it was at least 100 lbs. No shit.
Put together a couple of mouting plates today, pulled all the moldings off, and scrapped more sound deadening. F'in toyota engineers threw mountains of the crap in. I'll post more pics soon. Cage is scheduled to be done by March 1.

You really overshoot what a pc weighs I think... Ill probably add a whopping 20lbs to my car with a pc... the sound deadening would be like 75-100lbs I bet... Im basically compensating for any weight I have added, so its all about even in the end... thats the beauty of owning the car I own too btw, It doesnt need to be a gutted, option-less, purpose built only car to be fast... it can be a 10 second car and still be nice to take a date out in
Heh getting power out of my car is way too easy, I might as well keep all the gadgets in it and even add more since Its not like I need to remove them for any reason... I think ice cold a/c, a crazy multimedia system, and 700rwhp daily driven horsepower is gonna be nice

heh it sucks... I actually just want to lose a little weight and shift it around in my car to get closer to 50/50 and make it a little more nimble, because that is correct... btw, didnt wanna hijack your thread so I stopped the convo with mike... But basically, I wouldnt mind improving handling and weight distribution just a little... I dont want JUST a drag car, but the 4000 stall sorta implies that I suppose.. primary use is drag racing but Id like to to handle awesome too!

Poosh - No prob, but for a street car, especially with a decent sound system, you might not want to take it all out. You could compare the weight of the Toyota shit to dynamat though...
Put your car on some scales sometime and find out how bad it is. If it is close, you can get 50/50 through adjustment of coilovers.

I saw a post on one of the rally forums on removing body sealer so you can seam weld a car. One guy actually had a tank of liquid nitrogen delivered to his house because he got so fed up with trying to scrap the shit off. I think we could be close to this point ourselfs.
